The Endowments Department of Telangana has issued instructions to facilitate the organization of Sri Adi Shankara Jayanthi Utsavalu from 21st to 30th April 2026, based on a request from Sri Veda Bharathi Charitable Trust led by Dr. R.V.S.S. Avadhanulu. The celebrations are intended to honor Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya and promote his teachings of Advaita Vedanta among devotees. The programmes will be held at various temples in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, featuring spiritual discourses, bhajans, and cultural activities. Temple authorities have been directed to provide necessary arrangements such as space, public address systems, security, prasadam, drinking water, and special darshan for dignitaries. Permissions have also been granted for displaying banners and recording the events, ensuring smooth coordination and successful conduct of the utsavalu.
