Shri Veda Bharathi was established with “Preservation of Vedic chantings”, as one of its objectives.
Accordingly Rigveda was taken up for recording all its modes of chantings, viz., moolam, pada paatham, Krama paatham, jata, Maala, Sikha, Rekha, Dhwaja, Danda, Ratha and Ghana.
The present DVD contains the “Pada”mode of chanting of entire Samhita of Saakala Branch of Rigveda .
To get an idea of the composition:
A statement of Rigveda having six words, will be chanted in the “Pada” mode, with all the six words pronounced in a serial order, with a small pause after each word,following the grammar.
