Sanatana Dharma withnessed the origin of several cults of worship during its long course of time. One among such is “Dwaita” cult, which allows Lord Krishna as the main deity. This method of devotion was propounded by Sri Madhwacharya and was supported by several rulers, mostly from Karnataka. While they accept Vedas as the main texts of Hinduism, Krishna Bhakti is the main theme.
